I work with purposeful businesses, nonprofits and foundations to create content that reaches targeted audiences and moves them to action. This involves as much strategy as it does style and substance — no matter the quality of writing, companies must first understand who their audiences are, where to reach them and what motivates them to act.
My work ranges from original website copy to blog posts to social media outreach to placed articles in mainstream media outlets. I helped the Nike Foundation build a website for its business accelerator SPRING, which targets startups and social enterprises that empower girls living in poverty. I partnered with Google on its Google Green initiative and Amazon on its MyHabit endeavor (now Amazon Fashion).
Since 2012 I have served as Content Strategist for Micro-Documentaries, a company that creates short films for purposeful companies and non-profits around the world. I partner with co-founder and Creative Director Natasha Deganello Giraudie on a weekly basis to shape content for the blog, blogletter, website, and social media channels. I also serve as a liaison between Natasha and external media outlets like Fast Company and Content Marketing Institute.
